Mishal Yousafzai Removed from Role of KP CM’s Special Assistant
PESHAWAR (Taza Pakistan News – Nov 30, 2024): Mishal Yousafzai, Special Assistant to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister, has been removed from her position.
The Chief Minister’s Secretariat issued an official notification regarding Mishal Azam’s removal. However, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has not provided any reasons for this decision.

Mishal Yousafzai confirmed her de-notification and claimed it was linked to her recent interview with a private television channel. The KP government, however, has remained silent on the rationale behind the decision.
In her interview, Mishal revealed controversial details about Bushra Bibi, wife of PTI founder Imran Khan. Mishal claimed that Imran Khan directed Bushra Bibi to lead the procession to D-Chowk. “When Imran Khan asked her to go, how could Bushra Bibi step back?” Mishal questioned.
Bushra Bibi’s Ordeal at D-Chowk
Mishal alleged that Bushra Bibi was reluctant to return due to an attack on her vehicle. The vehicle was reportedly fired upon and targeted with chemicals, which blurred its windows, forcing her to switch vehicles.
“During this chaos, I was also separated from Bushra Bibi,” Mishal added.

The notification issued by the Chief Minister’s Secretariat instructed the removal of Mishal Yousafzai. It was forwarded to the provincial chief secretary for further processing. While the official document did not mention the interview, speculation suggests it played a key role in the decision.
